ETS has launched a new IT Internship program in effect this semester with four students. They will work with our IT Internship Committee members on tasks that relate to all IT areas. They will report to Thomas Lewis who will delegate the committee’s assigned tasks between the Interns. All four students are pursuing their Bachelors of Science in Information Technology at the Polytechnic School.

  • Kevvin Carter is focusing on video game construction and Computer Network Systems. He is also a student worker at UTO Tech Studio at the Polytechnic campus.
  • Aniika Gjesvold (Skabrat) is a senior with a focus on Networking and Security. She has spent over a year interning at Banner Health working in Enterprise Systems Management, and recently transitioned to IT Architecture.
  • Jonathan Roy has an expected graduation date of spring 2017 and is highly interested in server management, database, and network security.
  • Ryan Wehe is a senior, born and raised in Alamosa, a small town in Colorado; he was a student worker at UTO on the Polytechnic campus working for the classroom, deskside, and email support teams. In the summer of 2015, Ryan worked as an IT intern for Arizona Public Service and in summer 2016 moved to an internship with Cisco Systems.

Please join us in welcoming them to Engineering Technical Services.
